Besides the local scene, Aileen was also nominated for the Best Actress award in the Magnolia Awards '94 in China for her role in The Blazing Trail as an undercover cop. Best known for her dramatic roles, her moving portrayal of a housewife in Bond of Love also led to the serial being named the best family drama in Sarawak, Malaysia.
